Those rascals over at Comedy Central have this little show called Control Freaks, which chronicles the adventures of two die-hard gamers. If you've seen it, give us your take on the show. If you haven't seen it, click here, watch the webisodes and then tell us what you think. Funny stuff? Too much like, um, some other gamers you know? We want to hear all about it.

UpDated*

All the teams are willing to work together now for the common good. Now we the G.A.P. Community have to make a decision. Please cast your vote.

Question: Do you want a single G.A.P. specific Folding team? or do you want to merge GAP with the general playstation.com forum team.

Vote #1 for G.A.P. Team

Vote #2 for Merger between GAP and Playstation.com forum.

*If we have a G.A.P. specific team we will be able to have our own Team Icon contest and chose our own team name. Those would be the only 2 major differences.

    *Original Post to follow*

We need to work together as a Community Team.

By now you know about Folding for the PS3 that came in the 1.6 update. I am not here to ask you to join one team or the other. Simply folding at all helps.

It seems that this Folding@Home has actually started to Fracture the G.A.P. community. I think we the G.A.P. members can stand tall and all work as a team once more to Shine in the Folding community. If we can unite our Folding Teams I think we stand a chance at becoming the leader in the fight against some of the worlds worst dieseases. What better way to represent the PS3 and the game community as a whole then to show that we can work together towards a common humanitarian goal.

Where do we start?

I think we need to sort through a few of the big teams and roll them together. Below are a few facts about the teams and how get a better look.

I like to think that my G.A.P. membership means something, enough where my voice can be heard by at least a few of you. Today i found out that Devil May Cry 4 and Ace Combat 6, 2 of my most anticipated PS3 games, are going multiplatform.

God of War impressed us all with it's amazing visuals, deep gameplay mechanics, a surprisingly well-done story, and its always "hands on" approach. God of War became the pinnacle action-adventure game for the Playstation 2. It was only inevitable that the sequel, God of War 2, would no doubt be coming to life.

The PSP isn't perfect. No launch model ever is, especially a company's first foray into the handheld market. But there's always room for improvement, to ensure better competition. Plus, if the PSP fails and the DS gains the monopoly like all the doomsayers preach, the handheld market will suffer twofold, because it seems Pokémon Diamond/Pearl is the only game people really want for the DS right now.

This is one of the best situations I have encountered where I can utilize 2 of my FAVORITE GADGETS in tandem. I can take any and every show that I tape with me on a memory stick, and watch it any time, anywhere!
